CHARLEVOIX, MI | Sept 14 – Nov 3, 2018 | Block•Paper•Ink *a printmaking show at Charlevoix Circle of Arts curated by Gail DeMeyer.

SAGINAW, MI Feb 18 – March 15, 2019 | Then and Now: Keeping Japanese Woodblock Printmaking Alive at Saginaw Valley State University’s University Art Gallery.

In my Japanese woodblock printmaking workshops (usually held in the summer), participants learn the how to carve, print with water-based pigments, kento registration, and pressing with a baren – all hallmarks of the mokuhanga (wood print) printmaking process dating back to the 17th century.

2019 summer workshops are still in the planning stages. Please check back again for further details.

Looking to host a workshop at your venue or have a private lesson? Please feel free to contact me.
